How do we get hitched?

I do all the legalities for you and your soon to be partner for life.

You both need to be over the age of 18 (or be 16-18 years of age and have a court order allowing you to marry) and you can’t be related to each other (ewww). Then you need two witnesses also 18 years and over.

A Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) must be lodged with me at least one calendar month before your wedding day. I’ll help with this paperwork, check your ID, confirm your identity, and ability to marry or remarry!

Ok, so how does the process work?

We catch up for a meet and greet to chat all about your love story, get a feel for each other and you can ask me a bunch of questions about Get Hitched by Amanda. No decisions need to be made here, you go away feeling amazing about having me as your celebrant then you lock me in!

Once you’re locked in and depending on the package you’ve selected, I submit your NOIM and I get to work on making the most unforgettable ceremony, even your friends will be talking about it for decades!

As it gets closer we will confirm your ceremony, love story, and vows.

After the ceremony I'll help wrangle everyone up for a group photo and leave you feeling full to the brim with love and happiness.

When the “I dos” are said and the paperwork is signed I’ll submit your documents to the NSW Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages. I can then request a marriage certificate on your behalf for $67.00.

Love it, how do we lock you in?

Once I confirm my availability, I’ll send you through a booking form. When the booking form and the 50% non refundable deposit are paid I’ll be your celebrant, WHOO HOO!

Oh! Do you have a PA?

I sure do! It's battery operated and it’s a good size for around 150 guests. I can also play your ceremony music from it to make sure everything is seamless.

What about a rehearsal?

Short answer - you don't need it.

It's the small details that you want to check off with the rehearsal like when to walk down the aisle, where to stand, when to bring the rings forward, and when do we kiss - right?

I give you the full scrip for the ceremony that includes all these details. I'm going to coordinate all these aspects on the day and get everyone in the picture perfect position - yes I will say "take a step 10cm to the right" to your bridal party before you walk down the aisle.

And…do you travel?

I’m here to make your day, no matter the location.

If you are within 1 hour travel time from Bathurst it’s included in my price. If you are outside of this let me know and ill provide you with a travel quote.
